Waterproofing

Torch-on waterproofing
Torch on waterproofing relies on the application of one or more layers of membrane that act as a barrier between the water and the building structure, preventing water damage. Torch-on membrane comes in 3 and 4mm and it’s applied with a burner and gas and has to be done by a professional. We specialize mainly in torch-on waterproofing whereby we firstly make sure the roof is clean before applying primer then after using heat with a gas tank apply fusion malthoid. After this silvakote is applied (“Silvakote is a general-purpose reflective aluminium pigment bitumen based paint liquid coating used for torch-on membranes and all bitumen based waterproofing systems that reflect UV rays off the bitumen and extends the life span of bitumen”). We don’t normally do DIY waterproofing as this is the cheaper route with no guarantee and doesn’t last, we only do it if the client insists but we warn against it! We waterproof homes, offices, factories, concrete decks, balconies, parrapit walls, and box gutters. No job is too big or small.
General Roof Maintenance
To replace a roof is an expensive mission so it is wise to be maintained by having a roofing specialist inspect your roof for any broken/loose tiles, flashing that has come loose or rusted (depending on each roof and circumstances). We don’t notice the condition that our roof is in when standing on the ground, so it is out of mind until the inevitable happens. We clean exterior walls by using a high-pressure cleaning machine as with the roof cleaning. Then we apply one coat of masonry primer on exterior walls and finishing off with two coats of colour paint of the client’s choice by painting by hand. We also paint fascia boards and eave boards. When doing the interior we fill all cracks should there be any with poly filler then sand down poly filler till smooth before applying one coat of masonry primer and finishing off with two coats of colour paint of client’s choice by painting by hand as well. Giving your home a makeover regularly is good on the eye and makes you feel good about your home by sprucing up the colour of your room, dining room, kitchen by painting it. You should take pride in your home and just like your vehicle needs tune-ups so does your home or building with a fresh coat of paint.
